Job summary

Merakey is hiring Direct Support Professionals for our Ambler, PA program. No experience is required as paid training is provided. The role supports individuals in various settings, helping with daily living tasks and social skills while following an Individual Support Plan.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6am–10am. Earn $16.00/hour. Merakey offers benefits tailored to flexible work arrangements and employee support resources.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting working with people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
• No experience required; paid training provided.
• Desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities per Individual Support Plan.
• Encourage, mentor, and coach individuals to achieve their goals.
• Support with daily hygiene and personal care and housekeeping tasks.
• Foster independence by teaching daily living activities such as cooking, laundry, and navigating community settings.

Our ideal Direct Support Professional candidate will have a strong desire to create long-term impacts on their consumer’s lives and enjoy encouraging, mentoring, and coaching others to achieve their goals . Spend your day in a variety of settings making memories with our individuals. By following the Individual Support Plan, you can enjoy your days at the park and sensory gardens, while working on social and communication skills. Enhancing independence by assisting with daily hygiene and personal care. Foster a true sense of pride in your individual, by teaching them to navigate daily living activities, such as housekeeping and laundry.

No experience required - we provide PAID training.
