Job summary

Merakey is hiring Direct Support Professionals to join our team and provide compassionate care across various settings. The role focuses on enabling individuals with developmental needs to grow skills, confidence and independence through everyday activities and positive supports.

The position offers multiple shifts, a base hourly rate with shift differential and an enhanced pay option. Merakey provides a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and wellness

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Direct Support Professionals will work across varied settings helping individuals achieve daily living goals.
• Assist with daily hygiene and personal care.
• Support independence by teaching daily living activities like housekeeping and laundry.
• Encourage, mentor and coach individuals to reach their goals and participate in community activities.

Enhancing independence by assisting with daily hygiene and personal care. Foster a true sense of pride in your individual, by teaching them to navigate daily living activities, such as housekeeping and laundry.

Schedule: ALL FUll-time, Part-time, and PRN shifts are available

Base hourly rate $16.75/hour with $2-$3/hour shift differential and the Enhanced Pay option of $2/hour
