Job summary

SCO Family of Service is seeking a dedicated staff member to provide close supervision for individuals per their treatment plans in a structured, supportive setting.

The role requires a clean NYS driver’s license, willingness to transport individuals, and adherence to health and safety guidelines while coordinating with management and staff. Experience with developmental disabilities or traumatic brain injuries is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Clean NYS driver license required.
• Experience with developmental disabilities/traumatic brain injuries preferred.
• Background clearance through State Central Register required.
• Mantoux health examination compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide close supervision per the individual treatment plan.
• Participate in program planning meetings and sign off on Plans.
• Maintain individuals' possessions and communicate needs to management; complete documentation.
• Transport individuals safely; maintain vehicle logs and comply with NYS laws.
• Maintain the physical plant and agency property in a clean and safe manner.
• Provide other duties to ensure individuals are safe, healthy, and comfortable.
• Comply with OPWDD regulations and agency procedures.
• Attend mandatory trainings and staff meetings.
