Job summary

SCO Family of Service is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide close supervision to individuals as outlined in their treatment plans. The role includes participating in program planning meetings, signing off on plans, and ensuring daily logistics such as transportation and documentation are handled per procedures.

Responsibilities also cover maintaining personal possessions, communicating needs to management, and upholding safety and health standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid NYS driver's license preferred.
• Experience with developmental disabilities or traumatic brain injuries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide close supervision for individuals per their treatment plan and 1:1 requirements.
• Participate in program planning meetings and sign off on treatment plans.
• Maintain individuals' possessions and communicate needs to management.
• Transport individuals safely; maintain license; document vehicle logs and conditions.
• Maintain the facility and agency property in a clean, safe state.
• Attend staff meetings and required trainings; uphold all regulations.
