Job summary

Creative Foundations is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one care for individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings. Shifts include weekends, with Friday afternoon through Monday morning coverage, 24–40 hours per week.

Starting pay is $18 per hour for waking hours and $11 per hour for sleep shifts (10pm–6am). Comprehensive training is provided, along with benefits and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background check and required training.
• At least 21 years old.
• Med Cert 1.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance.
• Ability to work safely and respectfully in clients’ homes and communities.
• Compassion, reliability, and a desire to make a positive impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities at home and in the community.
• Assist with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal care and transportation.
• Encourage participation in social activities and community events.
• Help people achieve personal goals and celebrate progress.
• Document care, activities, and progress accurately.
• Communicate with team members to ensure consistent, quality support.
