Job summary

Fitzmaurice Community Services, Inc is seeking dedicated Direct Support Professionals to provide individualized support and care in a licensed residential facility in Pennsylvania. You’ll assist with daily living and community engagement, promoting independence and dignity.

Responsibilities include documenting logs, medication administration, and teamwork with staff to implement personalized programs while ensuring safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must pass Medication Certification & CPR/First Aid Certifications.
• Provide and maintain a valid U.S. Driver’s License and be insurable under company policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive individual support and personal care services to clients.
• Promote independence and autonomy by teaching daily living and behavior management skills.
• Engage clients in structured activities that encourage growth and participation.
• Complete all required documentation promptly, including time and attendance, daily logs, progress notes, and monthly reports.
• Participate in ongoing communication and planning for individualized program implementation.
• Administer medications and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Use the least intrusive intervention methods to support clients effectively.
• Foster community integration by encouraging the use of public resources and recreational opportunities.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information.
