Job summary

The South Carolina Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities is seeking Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities at Whitten Regional Center in Clinton, SC. The role emphasizes safety, daily living support, and participation in activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and three years of experience with individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to work overtime when required to ensure consumer safety.
• Basic computer skills including Therap and SCEIS Central for time and leave purposes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety of each consumer following BSP and protocols.
• Transport and monitor consumers to/off campus appointments and activities.
• Engage consumers in daily living activities and group activities.
• Complete data collection and documentation per agency policies.
