Job summary

South Carolina Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is seeking Direct Support Professionals at Whitten Regional Center in Clinton, SC to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of Therap and SCEIS Central.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to lift, push, stand, and work with individuals who may be aggressive.
• Immunization requirements for TB and vaccines.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and ensure health and safety per BSP and care plans.
• Transport and supervise consumers to appointments and activities.
• Complete data collection and maintain documentation.
• Report significant events and suspected abuse.
• Work overtime as needed and follow policies.
