Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Apex, NC to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. DSPs assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

Starting pay is $15.40 per hour with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments after meeting weekly hour targets. We offer flexible schedules, paid onboarding and training, weekly pay, and opportunities for growth within a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal, driving, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Lifting may be required depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals to achieve personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meals, hygiene, and chores.
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
