Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Apex, NC to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. You will help with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support, enabling clients to live more independently.

Compensation includes $15.40–$16.50 per hour and a $1,000 signing bonus with paid onboarding and weekly pay. We offer paid training, growth opportunities, and a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
