Job summary

Help at Home in Mississippi is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one care in homes and communities, helping individuals with developmental disabilities live as independently as possible.

This DSP role offers flexible schedules, weekly pay at $13–$15 per hour, paid training, health benefits, and opportunities for career growth. You’ll document care, support daily living skills, and promote dignity.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background check and required training.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance.
• Ability to work safely and respectfully in clients' homes and communities.
• Compassion, reliability, and a desire to make a positive impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, or transportation.
• Encourage participation in social and community activities.
• Document care, activities, and progress accurately.
• Communicate with team to ensure quality and consistent support.
