Job summary

Jewish Family & Career Services of Atlanta (JF&CS) is seeking Direct Support Professionals for hourly evening and overnight shifts in Austell, GA. You will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them live as independently as possible with daily living skills and community participation.

Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, and transportation, with medication support and behavior plan implementation as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree is preferred.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to complete daily electronic documentation.
• A valid Georgia driver's license, vehicle registration, and access to a privately insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and support in daily living skills per ISP.
• Provide personal care, including toileting, showering, and dressing.
• Assist with meal prep, shopping, laundry, and household tasks.
• Support social, emotional, physical, and spiritual development.
• Ensure medications are taken as prescribed and accompany medical appointments.
• Provide transportation in a private or agency vehicle.
• Implement behavior supports per BSP.
