Job summary

InCommunity, at Greenbrook House in Austell, GA, seeks a Part-Time Direct Support Professional to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six (6) months of experience in developmental disabilities, mental health, or aging services preferred.
• Personal or volunteer experience supporting individuals with disabilities may be considered.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet company driving standards, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Interact with individuals respectfully and with awareness of verbal and nonverbal communication.
• Assist individuals with ADLs including cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene.
• Promote safety, health, and well-being by following ISP, medical protocols, and documentation practices.
• Transport individuals safely when required, following all safety procedures.
