Qualifications

• Requires compassionate, person-centered approach to support individuals
• No specific education or prior experience required; on-the-job training provided
• Basic computer use to document care and stay connected with the team
• Ability to read and write in English to communicate effectively
• Must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record for transportation
• Must pass a DHS background check for a safe environment

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships and provide guidance, encouragement, and support
• Assist with daily living activities (personal care, hygiene, meals, household tasks, transportation)
• Support community involvement, social connections, and independent living skills
• Advocate for rights, needs, and preferences of individuals
• Monitor health and well-being and report changes
• Complete required documentation and participate in training and meetings
• Support up to 4 people in a residential group home
• Work in a collaborative, mission-driven team focused on dignity and inclusion
