Job summary

WellLife Network is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Bayside, NY, to help individuals with developmental disabilities thrive in their communities. You will provide hands-on care, assist with daily living activities, and advocate for the individuals you support.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State Driver’s License with at least 2 years of driving experience required for driving positions.
• Comfort operating a large vehicle for driving positions.
• Experience supporting adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care, encouragement, and advocacy for the individuals you support.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Administer medications as directed.
• Plan and participate in recreational, educational, and social activities.
• Advocate for needs, rights, and access to services.
