Job summary

Sevita operates D&S Community Services in Alcoa, TN, seeking a compassionate caregiver to support individuals with developmental disabilities. You will help with daily living, personal hygiene, and community participation, working Saturday and Sunday from 4 PM to 8 AM (16-hour shifts).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork and time-management are essential.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and complex needs.
• Help participants participate in the community and enjoy activities.
• Support participants with budgeting, exercise, and nutrition goals.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with individuals served and take initiative under supervision.
