Job summary

Sevita is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings. You will assist with personal care, daily living activities, and help participants participate in community activities.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and at least 6 months of experience in human services, plus a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle. This on-site role offers full benefits and opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Strong communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and daily living tasks.
• Support participants with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
• Assist with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
