Job summary

CHI is seeking a Direct Support Professional Lead to empower individuals with developmental disabilities through direct care and dedicated support. You will oversee the department across shifts and directly assist residents in achieving personal goals while promoting independence and community inclusion.

As a leader, you will train staff, monitor schedules, and ensure compliance with programs and health/safety standards, while maintaining strong person-centered relationships and engaging

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Driver's license and auto insurance required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee DSP department during shifts and ensure duties are completed.
• Attend program trainings with QIDP; implement OS/PCSP programs and assessments.
• Document records for people supported accurately and timely.
• Support people to engage in vocational, community, and social activities.
• Ensure health, safety, and welfare; manage medications and first aid.
• Mentor and train DSP staff; monitor staffing and active supports.
