Job summary

Help at Home is hiring Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. Pay ranges from $13–$15 per hour with weekly pay. Flexible part‑time shifts and paid training are offered, along with health benefits, time off, and bonuses.

As a DSP you will provide one‑on‑one care, assist with daily living tasks, encourage social participation, document progress, and collaborate with the care team to ensure quality support.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background check and required training.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance.
• Ability to work safely and respectfully in clients’ homes and communities.
• Compassion, reliability, and a desire to make a positive impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one support to individuals with developmental disabilities at home and in the community.
• Assist with daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, personal care, transportation).
• Encourage participation in social and community activities.
• Help individuals achieve personal goals and celebrate progress.
• Promote choice, independence, and self‑advocacy.
• Accurately document care, activities, and progress and communicate with the team.
