Job summary

Sevita in Evansville, IN is seeking dedicated Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals in a residential program. You will provide daily living supports, help with health maintenance, and support social and community integration.

This non-exempt, hourly role requires compassionate care, reliability, and the ability to work flexible hours in a team setting. Training is provided, with emphasis on safety, rights, and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of experience in human services preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Working knowledge of computers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver support per individual service plans, including socialization, health maintenance, medication administration, skill/behavioral development.
• Assist with daily activities: Personal care, housekeeping, recreational activities, transportation, community integration, shopping, citizenship, and other activities of daily living.
• Accurately documents progress and activity; reviews records and logs to stay abreast of changes in service plans; maintains confidentiality.
• Maintenance of confidentiality and rights, and reporting as required by Sevita policy and external requirements.
