Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of direct support for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Experience with individuals with complex behavioral or mental health needs preferred.
• Proficiency implementing IPP/ISP and BSPs; CPI or Safety Care training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered supervision within home and community.
• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, meals, hygiene, light housekeeping.
• Supervise medication administration when needed.
• Transport to medical and personal appointments.
• Implement BSPs to prevent de-escalation and support safety.
• Apply crisis prevention techniques when needed to ensure safety.
• Observe and report health/behavior changes to supervisor.
• Complete daily logs and progress notes per standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and related activities.
