Job summary

DABS Inc. in California is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide person-centered supervision in home and community settings for adults with developmental disabilities. You will assist with ADLs, monitor health and safety, and follow Behavior Support Plans to prevent incidents.

Qualifications

2-3 years of direct support experience.
Experience with individuals with complex behavioral or mental health needs preferred.
Proficient in IPP/ISP/BSP documentation.
Background check and TB clearance required.

Responsibilities

Provide supervision in home and community.
Assist with ADLs (bathing, toileting, dressing, meals, light housekeeping).
Supervise and assist with medication administration.
Transport to medical appointments.
Implement BSP to de-escalate behaviors.
Document daily logs and progress notes.
Attend interdisciplinary meetings.
