Job summary

DABS, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower adults with developmental disabilities toward greater independence. You’ll support daily activities, accompany clients on community outings, and help document health and behavior changes to inform care plans.

We offer full- and part-time schedules, day/evening/overnight shifts, paid sick leave, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for growth and training. CPR certification and TB test are required or we can help you obtain both.

Qualifications

• CPR Certification and TB test (assistance offered to obtain both).
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with everyday activities such as meal prep, light housekeeping, errands, and personal hygiene.
• Take individuals on community outings for appointments or leisure.
• Track and document changes in health and behavior to support care.
• Assist with medication reminders or administration when needed.
