Easter Seals New Hampshire is seeking a Direct Support Associate to join our Community Based Services team. The part-time role (24 hours/week, Thu–Sat 3p–11p) supports individuals with developmental disabilities in residential homes and offers NADSP training for certification and career growth.

Typical duties include assisting with daily living, personal care, mobility, and transport, while following each client’s care plan and documenting progress daily.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience providing direct support or direct care preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.

Responsabilidades

• Promote independence and provide companionship in a residential home setting.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, personal care and medication administration.
• Assist with lifting, transferring, and mobility support.
• Support household tasks such as light housekeeping, meal prep, and laundry.
• Accompany individuals on outings, appointments and community events.
• Follow each individual's care plan.
• Staff training in conflict resolution and behavioral health safety.
• Complete required daily documentation on computer or tablet.
• Other duties as needed or assigned.

Job Description

Easterseals NH is looking for a Direct Support Associate ( DSA ) to join our Community Based Services team! This program supports individuals with developmental disabilities and complex medical needs living within our residential homes.

Schedule: Part-time 24 hours a week; Thursday-Saturday 3p-11p

Pay: $24.00/hour

Opportunity to attend paid internal NADSP training to become a certified Direct Support Professional which leads to career advancement and pay increases.

Responsibilities

• The Direct Support Associate will support in promoting independence, creating a safe environment, and providing companionship to clients in a residential home setting.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as personal care and medication administration
• Assisting with lifting, transferring, and mobility support
• Support and assist with household tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry
• Accompany individuals on outings such as daily activities, appointments, and community events
• Follow each individuals care plan
• All staff will undergo training in conflict resolution and behavioral health safety
• Complete required daily documentation on a computer or tablet
• Other duties as needed or assigned
