Job summary

Easterseals NH in Exeter, NH is seeking a Direct Support Associate to empower adults with developmental disabilities by promoting independence and community engagement. You will support daily living, assist with mobility, and help maintain a safe, home-like environment in our residential homes.

The role offers part-time and full-time scheduling with weekend shifts, competitive $24 hourly pay, paid time off, holidays, and a 403(b) match as part of our benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Prior direct care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal care and medication administration.
• Assist with lifting, transferring, and mobility.
• Perform light housekeeping, meal prep, and laundry.
• Accompany individuals to appointments, activities, and community events.
• Follow personalized care plans.
• Complete daily documentation on a computer or tablet.
• Participate in trainings such as conflict resolution and behavioral health safety.

Schedules Available:

Full time and part time. Various scheduling options available. Must be willing to work 1 weekend shift per week.

Full-time 30 hours a week

• Thursday 10a-3p
• Friday 7a-3p
• Saturday 7a-3p
• Sunday 7a-3p

Full-time 38 hours a week

• Thursday 7a-9p
• Friday 7a-3p
• Saturday 7a-11p

Full-time 40 hours a week

• Sunday-Thursday 11p-7a (overnights)

Part-time 28 hours a week

• Monday 10a-3p
• Tuesday 10a-3p
• Wednesday 10a-3p

• Prior direct care/direct support experience preferred, but notrequired

Compensation

$24 hourly
