Easterseals NH & VT seeks compassionate Residential Direct Support Associates to join our Community-Based Services team in Manchester, NH, supporting adults with developmental disabilities in residential homes. We offer full-time, part-time, and per-diem schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience providing direct support or direct care (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Promote independence and create a safe environment for clients in a residential home.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living including personal care and medication administration.
• Assist with lifting, transferring, and mobility support.
• Support with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry.

Job Description: We’re looking for compassionate and dedicated Residential Direct Support Associates to join our Community-Based Services team, supporting adults with developmental disabilities and complex medical needs in our residential homes.

Pay: $21/hour Schedules Available: Full-time, part-time, and per-diem Full-time 31 hours a week Monday 3p-9p Tuesday 8a-3p Wednesday 3p-9p Thursday 3p-9p Saturday 9a-3p Part-time 21 hours a week Saturday 7a-9p Sunday 8a-3p Part- time 6 hours a week Saturdays 9a-3p

If you have experience in Human Services as a Direct Support Professional, Residential Counselor or Behavior Technician, this role is for you! Your growth matters to us! Advance your career through our paid DSP Career Progression Pathway and earn up to an extra $1.50/hour by completing all three levels.

About the Home: This two-family home in Manchester, NH provides support to 6 adult men who enjoy community activities such as going to the gym, watching airplanes, shopping, swimming and going to the beach in the summer. When at home they enjoy playing board games, card games and watching movies together.

Responsibilities:

• The Direct Support Associate will support in promoting independence, creating a safe environment, and providing companionship to clients in a residential home setting.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as personal care and medication administration
• Assisting with lifting, transferring, and mobility support
• Support and assist with household tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry
• Accompany individuals on outings such as daily activities, appointments, and community events
• Follow each individuals care plan
• All staff will undergo training in conflict resolution and behavioral health safety
• Complete required daily documentation on a computer or tablet
• Other duties as needed or assigned

• Must be 18 years of age or older
