Job summary

Easterseals New Hampshire, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Associate (DSA) to join our Community Based Services team. This role supports individuals with developmental disabilities and complex medical needs living within our residential homes.

Per diem scheduling options are available, and the pay is $24.00 per hour. The DSA will assist with daily activities, safety, companionship, and adhere to individual care plans, while training to become a certified Direct Support Professional through

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience providing direct support or direct care preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance are required.

Responsibilities

• Support in promoting independence and creating a safe environment for clients in a residential home.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living including personal care and medication administration.
• Assist with lifting, transferring, and mobility support.

Easterseals NH is looking for a Direct Support Associate (DSA) to join our Community Based Services team! This program supports individuals with developmental disabilities and complex medical needs living within our residential homes.

Pay:

$24.00/hour. Opportunity to attend paid internal NADSP training to become a certified Direct Support Professional which leads to career advancement and pay increases.

Responsibilities:

• The Direct Support Associate will support in promoting independence, creating a safe environment, and providing companionship to clients in a residential home setting.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as personal care and medication administration
• Assisting with lifting, transferring, and mobility support
• Support and assist with household tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry
• Accompany individuals on outings such as daily activities, appointments, and community events
• Follow each individuals care plan
• All staff will undergo training in conflict resolution and behavioral health safety
• Complete required daily documentation on a computer or tablet
• Other duties as needed or assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
