Job summary

Easter Seals NH, Inc. in Rochester, NH seeks a Part-time Direct Support Associate to join our Community Based Services team. This role supports individuals with developmental disabilities in residential homes, focusing on independence, safety, and companionship.

Shifts total 24 hours per week (Thu–Sat, 3p–11p) with flexible scheduling options. Pay is $24.00/hour. Eligible staff can attend NADSP training toward certification for career advancement and pay increases.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience providing direct support or direct care (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Promote independence and create a safe, supportive home environment.
• Assist with activities of daily living and medication administration as needed.
• Support with lifting, transferring, and mobility.
• Help with light housekeeping, meals, and laundry; accompany clients on daily activities and community events.
• Follow each individual’s care plan and complete required daily documentation.
