Job summary

Easterseals NH in Manchester, NH is seeking compassionate Residential Direct Support Associates to join our Community-Based Services team, supporting adults with developmental disabilities in our residential homes. This part-time role offers 30 hours per week with a schedule including Sundays and weekdays 4p-10p.

Pay is $22.62 per hour, with a DSP Career Progression Pathway allowing an extra $1.50/hour after completing all levels.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in direct support or direct care preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with developmental disabilities in residential homes.
• Assist with activities of daily living including personal care and medication administration.
• Provide companionship and promote independence while ensuring safety.
• Assist with lifting, transferring, and mobility.
• Light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry.
• Accompany clients to daily activities, appointments, and community events.
• Follow each individual's care plan and document daily notes.
• Complete required training and daily documentation on a computer or tablet.
• Other duties as needed or assigned.
