Easterseals NH in Exeter, NH is seeking a Direct Support Associate (DSA) to join our Community Based Services team. This role supports individuals with developmental disabilities in residential homes, providing companionship and promoting independence across daily activities.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care and medications, mobility support, light housekeeping, meal prep, and accompanying clients to appointments and community events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience providing direct support or direct care preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Support independence and promote safety in residential home.
• Assist with activities of daily living including personal care and medication administration.
• Assist with lifting, transferring and mobility support.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation and laundry.
• Accompany individuals on daily activities, appointments and community events.
• Follow each individual’s care plan.
• Complete required daily documentation on a computer or tablet.
• Other duties as needed or assigned.
