Easterseals NH is hiring Residential Direct Support Associates to support adults with developmental disabilities in our Manchester, NH homes. Pay is $21/hour with full-time, part-time, and per-diem schedules available; full-time shifts total 31 hours per week and include weekday evenings.

A direct care background and a valid driver’s license help you thrive in this role. The position offers a DSP Career Progression Pathway with potential to earn up to an extra $1.50/hour after completing levels.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience providing direct support or direct care preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as personal care and medication administration.
• Assist with lifting, transferring, and mobility support.
• Support and assist with household tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry.
• Accompany individuals on outings such as daily activities, appointments, and community events.
• Follow each individual's care plan.
• All staff will undergo training in conflict resolution and behavioral health safety.
• Complete required daily documentation on a computer or tablet.
• Other duties as needed or assigned.

We’re looking for compassionate and dedicated Residential Direct Support Associates to join our Community-Based Services team, supporting adults with developmental disabilities and complex medical needs in our residential homes.

Pay: $21/hour

Schedules Available: Full-time, part-time, and per-diem

Full-time 31 hours a week

• Monday 3p-9p
• Tuesday 8a-3p
• Wednesday 3p-9p
• Thursday 3p-9p
• Saturday 9a-3p

Part-time 21 hours a week

• Saturday 7a-9p
• Sunday 8a-3p

Part- time 6 hours a week

• Saturdays 9a-3p

If you have experience in Human Services as a Direct Support Professional, Residential Counselor or Behavior Technician, this role is for you!

About the Home: This two-family home in Manchester, NH provides support to 6 adult men who enjoy community activities such as going to the gym, watching airplanes, shopping, swimming and going to the beach in the summer. When at home they enjoy playing board games, card games and watching movies together.
