Job summary

Easterseals NH is seeking a direct support associate to collaborate with adults in diverse activities across the community. You will support participants in work, cooking classes, yoga, and other vocational activities, guiding them toward greater independence with hands-on assistance when needed.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $20, with part-time scheduling and a benefits package for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have two years of work history.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle and automobile insurance for transportation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with diverse abilities during work, cooking classes, yoga, or vocational activities.
• Provide hands-on supervision and hand-over-hand assistance as needed to promote independence.
• Participate in enriching, integrative activities within the community.

Your flexible role will adjust from supervision to hand-over-hand assistance as you support each individual during work, cooking classes, yoga, or other vocational activities in their communities.Qualifications: You must be 18 years of age or older to fill this position and have two years of work history.
