Job summary

Easterseals NH is seeking compassionate Residential Direct Support Associates to support adults with developmental disabilities in Manchester, NH. This part-time role (6 hours weekly) on Saturdays from 9am to 3pm offers meaningful daily activities and community involvement in a supportive home.

You will assist with daily living tasks, accompany clients on outings, and document care activities while following individual care plans. Benefits include wellness and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Experience in direct support preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Promote independence and provide companionship in a residential home.
• Assist with activities of daily living and medication administration.
• Support lifting, transferring, and mobility as needed.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, and laundry.
• Accompany clients to daily activities, appointments, and community events.
• Follow each client’s care plan and complete daily documentation.
• Participate in conflict resolution and safety training; other duties as assigned.

Job Description:We’re looking for compassionate and dedicated Residential Direct Support Associates to join our Community-Based Services team, supporting adults with developmental disabilities and complex medical needs in our residential homes.Schedule: Part time 6 hours a week; Saturday 9a-3pPay: $21/hourIf you have experience in Human Services as a Direct Support Professional, Residential Counselor or Behavior Technician, this role is for you!Your growth matters to us! Advance your career through our paid DSP Career Progression Pathway and earn up to an extra $1.50/hour by completing all three levels.About the Home: This two-family home in Manchester, NH provides support to 6 adult men who enjoy community activities such as going to the gym, watching airplanes, shopping, swimming and going to the beach in the summer. When at home they enjoy playing board games, card games and watching movies together.Responsibilities: The Direct Support Associate will support in promoting independence, creating a safe environment, and providing companionship to clients in a residential home setting.Assist clients with activities of daily living such as personal care and medication administrationAssisting with lifting, transferring, and mobility supportSupport and assist with household tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundryAccompany individuals on outings such as daily activities, appointments, and community eventsFollow each individuals care planAll staff will undergo training in conflict resolution and behavioral health safetyComplete required daily documentation on a computer or tabletOther duties as needed or assignedQualifications:High School Diploma or GEDMust be 18 years of age or olderExperience providing direct support or direct care (preferred)Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insuranceWhat’s in it for you?
