Job summary

Easterseals NH in Concord, NH seeks a Direct Support Associate to join our team, providing person-centered support to adults with diverse needs in community programs. You will participate in activities, assist with daily living, and support independence through hands-on supervision and hand-over-hand assistance when needed.

This is a full-time, first-shift role with a $20 per hour rate, plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, PTO,

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Two years of work history.
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and automobile insurance.
• Candidates must be male due to client needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults in community activities and vocational programs.
• Provide hand-over-hand assistance as needed to support independence.
• Support individuals during work, cooking classes, yoga, and similar activities.

Responsibilities

As a direct support associate in our program, you will participate alongside individuals as they partake in enriching, integrative activities throughout their communities. Gain hands‑on experience working with adults who represent a diverse range of abilities and needs, supporting them as they achieve greater independence. Your flexible role will adjust from supervision to hand‑over‑hand assistance as you support each individual during work, cooking classes, yoga, or other vocational activities in their communities.

Qualifications

You must be 18 years of age or older to fill this position and have two years of work history. You must have a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and automobile insurance for transportation requirements. ** due to the needs of the client, candidates must be male **

Compensation

$20/hour

Hours

Monday through Friday, 1st shift, full-time, floating position.
