Job summary

Easterseals NH in Belmont, NH is seeking a Direct Support Associate to empower adults with developmental disabilities and diverse support needs. The role focuses on building independence, community engagement, and personalized support within a Day Program setting.

You will help participants with engaging activities, including vocational tasks, volunteering, and outings. A career ladder offers progression through our paid DSP Career Progression Pathway with earning increases up to $1.50/hour

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience as a DSP, Residential Counselor, Caregiver, Behavior Technician or Support Counselor is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide general supervision and hand-over-hand assistance.
• Support individuals as they participate in community-based, skill-building activities.
• Assist with vocational tasks, volunteering, outings and integrative community experiences.

WhatYou’llDo:

As a Day Program Direct Support Associate ,you’llsupport individuals as theyparticipatein engaging, community-based, andskill‑buildingactivities such as:

• Vocational tasks
• Volunteerism
• Outings and integrative community experiences

Your responsibilities will range from providing general supervision to offeringhand‑over‑handassistance, always ensuring each person receives the individualized support they need to succeed.

Compensation: We have several openings between $19-$21/hr

Hours: full-time, benefit-eligible 30-35 hours/week, Monday - Friday
