Job summary

Turning Point of Central California, Inc. seeks a Direct Service Professional to provide direct care to residents and support treatment goals under the supervision of the Program Director.

You will assist with daily living skills, group activities, and documentation while ensuring safety and reporting changes promptly. Requirements include six months of direct care with developmental disabilities, English communication, RBT training within 90 days, and CPR/First Aid within 7 days.

Qualifications

• Six months' prior direct care experience with developmentally disabled residents.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
• Must complete RBT Training and certification within 90 days of employment.
• Complete DSP Year one within 6 months and Year 2 within 1 year of employment.
• CPR/First Aid/Water Safety Certifications within 7 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the accomplishment of the treatment plan for residents under supervision.
• Maintain case documentation per agency guidelines.
• Transport patients to appointments.
• Conduct daily living skills sessions and socialization groups.
• Attend staff meetings and supervision with the Program Director.
• Participate in trainings, seminars and practicum.
• Support residents in treatment activities and self-reliance.
