The Inside Sales Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of Sales Representatives and be responsible for hiring, mentoring, training, and development of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor, train, and coach Sales Representatives to assist with professional growth while maximizing performance.
  • Create an environment of collaboration and teamwork to deliver quality service and superior sales results.
  • Serve as an expert resource on sales process, procedures, and techniques by maintaining and enhancing your own product knowledge and process understanding.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of an outbound sales center environment, with advanced knowledge of aggressive call and follow-up strategies on active leads.
  • Identify sales strategies resulting in increased productivity and improved point of sale quality measures.
  • Develop performance measures for team and individuals; regularly monitor and communicate progress toward these goals.
  • Conduct team meetings to keep staff informed regarding results and any processes, procedural, or policy changes.
  • Ensure collaboration and unison across Outbound and Inbound sales teams.
  • Provide input into all hiring, promotions, compensation, and termination decisions for team.
  • Review day-to-day operations to ensure adherence to all policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Effectively work with workforce management to ensure optimal results for the contact center.
  • Assist and provide input for Marketing regarding online lead volume, distribution, and performance.
  • Conduct call scoring and quality reviews.
  • Develop call script and call flow optimization.
  • Develop, distribute, and present performance and progress reports to senior management.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Must have or obtain a Property and Casualty Producers license.
  • Experience in management and accountability for a sales team that consistently met or exceeded sales or business goals.
  • Ability to be innovative and take initiative in a startup environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of personal line products, sales processes/procedures, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Advanced performance management, Analytical and problem solving skills required.
  • Supervisory or lead experience with demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively, train personnel, and communicate/enforce policies and procedures.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Outstanding leadership and motivational qualities.

SALARY RANGE

The pay range for this position is $78,000 to $105,000 annually. Actual compensation will vary based on multiple factors, including employee knowledge and experience, role scope, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
