Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of direct sales or outside/field sales experience preferred.
• Must be sales driven, team-player with a positive people orientation.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with internet-enabled devices (tablets, smartphones, routers, modems).
• Ability to travel to and from assigned territories and company locations.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Some cities require solicitor's permits for door-to-door sales.

Responsibilities

• Obtain sales by canvassing door to door and meet/exceed targets.
• Complete paperwork and explain payment options to customers.
• Canvass door-to-door daily from 11am–8pm.
• Receive performance updates from a supervisor/manager.
• Travel within Mediacom territory, including state-to-state trips.
• Assist in community events, training teammates, and leading meetings.
