Job summary

Akron Children's Hospital is seeking a Direct Response Specialist to create, implement, and manage a multi-channel direct response program within the Foundation. The role focuses on soliciting donors across direct mail, email, mobile, text, and phone to generate ~ $2 million annually, while identifying prospects and cultivating major gifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in development, business, marketing, or public relations.
• Minimum of 3 years successful annual fund and/or major gift fundraising.

Responsibilities

• Must work with data analytics to reach and solicit maximum number of donors.
• Familiar with social media fundraising.
• Lead broadcast solicitation communications for the Annual Fund.
• Support Children’s Miracle Network and other initiatives as directed.
• Analyze donor data to identify trends and optimize direct response efforts.
• Benchmark solicitation trends with healthcare organizations.
