Job summary

Consigli Construction is seeking an Arch Direct Direct Purchase – Assistant Project Manager (DP-APM) to serve as the primary contact for regional stakeholders and oversee direct purchase responsibilities across full project life cycle.

You will engage in preconstruction, budgeting, scheduling, risk and resource management while guiding a team of project engineers and collaborating with owners, architects and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture preferred.
• 4+ years of experience within the construction industry in full lifecycle purchasing, project management or similar role.
• OSHA-10 and OSHA-30 preferred.
• Additional proficiencies may include cost management software (Timberline, Sage preferred), scheduling software (Primavera P6 preferred) and construction management software (Procore preferred).

Responsibilities

• Represent Arch Direct as primary contact; attend regional meetings as needed.
• Oversee Direct Purchase regional financials, including cost reporting and invoices.
• Ensure SOPs are updated and fit for purpose with Arch Direct.
• Represent Arch Direct and Consigli at external events.
• Mentor and manage multiple Arch Direct – Project Engineers.
• Evaluate performance and identify training needs for project engineers.
• Conduct training and development of others.
• Assist in preparation and presentation at project interviews.
• Engage early in project preconstruction processes.
• Lead development and management of optimal project profit opportunities.
• Provide budgetary and lead time information for Direct Purchase.
• Demarcate Direct Purchase scope and confirm final scope.
• Identify owner flow-down requirements with project team and legal.
• Manage scope/packages: vendor ID, RFP/RFI, bid leveling, and awards.
• Coordinate submittals, expediting, and changes; ensure documentation accuracy.
• Oversee equipment inspection, transport, start-up and warranty coordination.
• Close out packages and capture lessons learned; update systems accordingly.
