Job summary

Orveon Global in New York is seeking a Manager, Direct Procurement to drive our contract manufacturing and packaging supply chain, ensuring reliable, cost‑effective, and innovative formulas and packaging.

You will develop and execute strategic sourcing, manage supplier performance, lead cost optimization and risk management, and partner with Product Development, Legal, Finance, and Packaging teams to support a fast‑paced, global business in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5+ years of direct procurement experience, preferably cosmetics.
Proven track record in developing and executing strategic sourcing initiatives.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Deep understanding of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the company's objectives.
Supplier Management: Build strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and manage supplier performance.
Cost Optimization & Financial Management: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing and negotiations; track variance and budgeting.
Risk Management: Assess and mitigate supply chain risks including material availability and quality fluctuations.
Sustainability: Drive eco-friendly packaging initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
Innovation: Collaborate with R&D to source innovative packaging materials and technologies.
