Job summary

Nestlé Health Science is seeking a lead for packaging procurement in the US, managing a $50M–$70M spend. You will develop category strategies, negotiate supplier agreements, and partner with stakeholders to improve cost, quality, and supply continuity.

The ideal candidate has deep packaging experience across food/pharma/nutraceutical sectors and strong sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in packaging category procurement (corrugate, folding cartons, labels, flexible packaging, etc.).
• Experience in packaging materials procurement in food/pharma/nutraceutical manufacturing industries.
• Broad procurement background across manufacturing, commercial, and corporate functions.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Multiple years of increasing responsibility in procurement are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term category strategies and yearly sourcing plan for Nestlé Health Science US packaging spend.
• Lead continuous improvement to deliver year-over-year productivity and savings tracking with Finance.
• Perform market research to inform robust category strategies and agile resource planning.
• Negotiate supplier agreements to deliver value while ensuring quality and service.
• Manage risk and coordinate with supply planning to resolve issues.
