Job summary

Orveon group is seeking a Manager of Direct Procurement to lead the sourcing and management of finished goods and packaging materials. You will drive cost-effective, high-quality supply chains for cosmetics brands with a focus on sustainability and innovation.

You will develop procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and collaborate across NPD, Packaging, Planning, Quality, and Finance in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of direct procurement experience, preferably cosmetics.
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Deep understanding of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, global environment.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the company's objectives.
• Supplier Management: Build relationships with key suppliers, negotiate terms, and manage performance for continuity and cost-efficiency.
• Cost Optimization & Financial Management: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives; track PVP, trends, and budgeting.
• Risk Management: Assess and mitigate supply chain risks including material availability and quality fluctuations.
• Sustainability: Drive eco-friendly practices within packaging supply chain and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Innovation: Collaborate with R&D to source innovative packaging materials and technologies.
