Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking a physician to provide patient-centered primary care to employees at assigned Marathon Health Centers through an Employer‑Sponsored Direct Primary Care model.

This role offers a smaller patient panel (800–1000 patients) with 30–60 minute visits, high touch service from the care team, and an insurance-free work environment designed to reduce administrative burden while improving health outcomes for members and their families.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited medical school and completion of residency in Family Practice or Internal Medicine + Pediatrics.
• Active state medical license; DEA preferred.
• Board certification or eligibility and intent to certify.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• May require a dispensing license per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered primary care to employees at assigned Marathon Health Centers.
• Deliver high-quality care within Employer‑Sponsored Direct Primary Care model with reduced administrative burden.
• Collaborate with a care team to improve patient outcomes and engagement.

Education

Medical degree (MD/DO)

Residency in Family Practice or Internal Medicine + Pediatrics

Active state medical license

CPR/BLS certification

DEA license preferred
