Job summary

Marathon Health is hiring a physician to deliver patient-centered primary care to employees at our Marathon Health Centers through an Employer-Sponsored Direct Primary Care model. You will work in a smaller patient panel and provide longer visits in a capitated-fee environment, emphasizing quality and patient experience.

The role focuses on preventive care, health outcomes, and a collaborative care model with APPs.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited medical school and completion of residency with professional experience in 1) Family Practice or 2) Internal Medicine + Pediatric.
• Board certification or eligibility and intent to certify required; Active state license required; DEA preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date.
• Per state regulations, may be required to have a dispensing license.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered primary care to employees at Marathon Health Centers within the Employer-Sponsored Direct Primary Care model.
• Collaborate with a care team including Advanced Practice Providers to deliver high-touch, cost-effective care.
• Engage in preventive care and population health initiatives to improve health outcomes for patients.

Education

Medical degree / MD

Residency in Family Practice or Internal Medicine + Pediatrics

Board certification or eligibility

Active state medical license

CPR/BLS certification

DEA license preferred

Dispensing license (per state regulations)
