GenScript USA Inc. is seeking a Purchasing Specialist for Direct Materials (lab consumables and raw materials) in Piscataway, NJ.

This onsite role supports end-to-end sourcing to meet production needs, manages vendor relationships, and drives cost-saving initiatives while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, monitor KPIs and SLAs, and negotiate contracts including MSAs.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in procurement, focusing on direct materials.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Experience in procurement for lab projects is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Oversee material planning for direct materials and consumables to meet production KPIs.
• Lead strategic sourcing and manage procurement for direct materials and consumables used in production.
• Develop alternative vendors for critical materials to ensure supply continuity.
• Conduct category management to identify cost-saving opportunities through vendor consolidation.
• Track KPIs related to cost savings, on-time delivery, and efficiency improvements.
• Negotiate and execute contracts and MSAs in coordination with the legal team.
