Job summary

Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU) in Melbourne, FL seeks a Direct Loan Processing Coordinator to provide exemplary service to members and prepare/ transmit approved loans via Express Services for timely closings.

The role supports processing efforts of the Direct Loan Processing and Consumer Lending teams, collaborates with partners, and maintains high accuracy while adhering to regulatory procedures. A friendly, member-focused environment awaits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years experience in customer service or lending field.
• Banking experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage incomplete consumer applications for closing in-branch and electronically, ensuring documents are accurate and compliant.
• Monitor multiple submission channels for additional applications in progress and request missing information.
• Make outbound calls to members and internal partners to resolve items and move applications forward.
• Collaborate with Direct Loan Processor and Consumer Lending team members to resolve issues and ensure smooth progression.
• Respond to inquiries regarding direct loans, providing timely status updates.
• Assist peers with loan applications to support team efficiency.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and problem-solving to maximize productivity and member satisfaction.
• Recommend improvements to work methods to enhance efficiency and quality of results.
