Job summary

Space Coast Credit Union in Miramar, FL is seeking a Direct Loan Processing Coordinator to service members and transmit approved loans through Express Services for timely closings. You will support Direct Processing and Consumer Lending teams, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma and 1–3 years in customer service or lending; banking experience is a plus. Competitive benefits and flexible scheduling are offered.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years prior experience in a customer service or lending related field required, banking experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage incomplete consumer applications for closing, both in branch and electronically, ensuring documentation is accurate and compliant.
• Monitor submission channels for additional applications in progress and request missing information.
• Make outbound calls to members and internal partners to resolve items and move applications forward.
• Collaborate with Direct Loan Processor and Consumer Lending team to resolve issues and ensure smooth progression of loan applications.
• Respond to inquiries regarding direct loans with timely status updates and questions resolved.
• Assist peers with loan applications to support team efficiency and workflow.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and problem-solving to maximize productivity and member satisfaction.
• Recommend improvements to work methods to enhance efficiency and quality.
