Job summary

1st St NW Technical Staffing is seeking an experienced Structural Drafter for a direct-hire position with a well-established engineering consulting firm in Minnesota. You will create structural models (Revit) for miscellaneous commercial buildings and prepare construction documents from engineering designs.

Qualifications include an AAS degree in drafting (Architectural Drafting a plus), 4+ years of structural drafting/design experience, and strong Revit and AutoCAD skills.

Qualifications

• AAS degree in a drafting discipline (Architectural Drafting, or similar, a plus)
• 4+ years of structural drafting / design experience
• Commercial buildings project experience
• Strong Revit skills
• AutoCAD proficiency

Responsibilities

• Create structural models (using Revit) for misc. commercial buildings
• Translate structural engineering designs and specifications into detailed construction documents
• Ensure drawings meet required standards and regulations
