Job summary

ContinueCARE Hospital at Baptist Health Paducah is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a direct hire, full-time LTAC role providing care to high-acuity patients recovering from complex medical conditions.

The position requires an active Kentucky RN license (or compact state), 1+ year in acute/ICU/LTAC, BLS, and ACLS within 90 days. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, monitor progress, administer medications, educate families, and advocate for long-term recovery.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Kentucky or a compact state.
• 1+ year of acute care, ICU, or LTAC experience strongly preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• Strong clinical judgment and a commitment to patient care.
• Compassionate, team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill or medically complex patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care plans.
• Monitor patient progress, administer medications and treatments, and document clinical findings.
• Educate patients and families, and serve as an advocate for long-term health and recovery
• Maintain compliance with all policies, standards, and regulatory guidelines
